The Western Nova Minor Hockey League has released the league playdown format for the Atom A, Peewee A and Bantam A divisions, along with other divisions. The league's Weekend of Champions will be held April 14 and 15 at the Brooklyn Arena and hosted by the West Hants Minor Hockey Association.

The Yarmouth Bee Fisheries Bantam AA Mariners with their championship banner from the Bantam AA Atlantic Classic that was held in Antigonish. The Yarmouth Bee Fisheries Bantam AA Mariners returned home with another tournament championship banner winning the Bantam AA Atlantic Classic in Antigonish over the Dec. 16-18 weekend. This is their second tournament championship of the season.
